The online version of Forbes magazine underwent a major redesign, and after a year and a half, the owners decided to thoroughly evaluate the project. Our analysis focused on three key areas - product, content and business and contributed significantly to improving the results of the online project Forbes.cz. We have been actively supporting the project for the fourth year and our main task is the further successful monetization of Forbes.cz.

The client approached us to assess the effectiveness of the redesign and identify the strengths and weaknesses of the project. Our analysis focused on technology quality, user experience (UX) and other key areas that could contribute to traffic and revenue growth. Our goal was to support the project in achieving steady growth through improved attendance and increased sales.
At the beginning, we conducted a thorough analysis and audit of the project, focusing on the product, business and editorial part. The result was an action plan with a timetable for individual adjustments. In the product area, we evaluated website traffic, graphical layout and planned changes. We also examined the personnel and communication structure of the team and analyzed marketing activities, including PPC and social campaigns.
In the content section, we examined the thematic focus of the magazine, the quality of the content and the connection with the parent magazine. We analyzed the effectiveness of cooperation between the editorial staff and the advertising department.
In the business area, we focused on sales, advertising planning and business strategy.
Our two-month work resulted in a long-term collaboration in detailed analysis with key insights and recommendations for traffic growth, content improvement and workflow optimization. Our proposals led to a jump in online advertising revenue growth in 2020, and this positive trend continued in subsequent years.
Other important outputs include preparation of product maps, strategic product development and coordination of regional activities for Forbes.sk and Forbes.hu. We actively supported the development of digital subscription and e-commerce projects.
